The Pitt‘s Tal Anderson reveals what it’s like to have a juicy storyline in Season 2 of TV’s most popular drama series.

The Pitt fans met Tal Anderson’s Becca briefly in Season 1 of the Emmy-winning series — mostly in FaceTime calls and a walk home with her on-screen sister, Mel (Taylor Dearden).

In Season 2, we really get to know her when she shows up with a stomach ache at her sister’s workplace — and some news.

“When I finally saw the scripts and found out her storyline for the season, I was so thrilled that Becca was going to the ED and get to stand for something,” said Anderson. “Being part of all this is so thrilling for me and much more than I could ever have imagined.”

Mel is protective of her sister, who lives in a personal care facility, and when Becca reveals she got a UTI from having sex with her boyfriend Adam, Mel and Becca have an epic fight scene.

“As an actor, I was so excited to do it because the emotional stakes were raised to the highest level. You know, Becca and Mel’s relationship in Season 1 was like this calm, beautiful thing. And we learned that Becca was the driving force behind Mel becoming a doctor and that their relationship was this precious thing. And then when you get to Season 2, they have this big old sister fight. All of that is flipped upside down.”

Of course, we haven’t met Adam on screen yet, but Anderson has an idea what he’s like.

“I mean, he’s clearly hot, right?” she said with a laugh.

I had a great conversation with Anderson about her work on the series, including the sisters’ relationship with Langdon and what movie she could watch 100 times (it’s not Elf!).
