The Actor Awards streamed live tonight on Netflix covering performances across film and television. Ryan Coogler’s Sinners took home the award for Cast in a Motion Picture, but the big surprise of the evening was Michael B. Jordan’s unexpected (but seriously deserved) win in Lead Actor. Jessie Buckley took home Lead Actress for Hamnet. Supporting Actor winner Sean Penn received the only award of the night for One Battle After Another while Amy Madigan received Supporting Actress recognition for Weapons.

On the television front, Apple’s The Studio swept the comedy awards including Comedy Ensemble. Seth Rogan received Comedy Actor honors and accepted a posthumous award for Catherine O’Hara. On the drama front, The Pitt received two awards: Drama Ensemble and Drama Actor. Keri Russell received a surprise award for Drama Actress. Well, not a surprise to Joey who was the only member of The Contending to correctly predict her win.
