Ryan Coogler’s Sinners made Oscar history this morning. The box office smash received a record-breaking 16 nominations, breaking the decades-old lead previously held by All About Eve (Titanic and La La Land tied that number). Sinners received all expected nominations including a surprise nomination for supporting actor Delroy Lindo.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another received 13 nominations. Focus Features also became the first studio since Miramax in 2003 to land three Best Actress nominations in a single year with Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Emma Stone (Bugonia), and Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue).

You can find the full list of 2026 Academy Award nominations below. The Oscars will be televised live on ABC on March 15.

I don't think anybody predicted 0 nominations for Wicked when the season started.

The Chase Infiniti snub stings. Sinners gets 16 nominations but will still be considered the underdog.
