Los Angeles — October 17, 2025 — The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards, held this evening at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. The ceremony was streamed live and is available to watch at watch.theemmys.tv and via The Emmys® app.

Hosted by actor, producer and Daytime Emmy Award–winning host Mario Lopez, the event marked the most attended Daytime Emmys celebration since 2019, bringing together stars and creators from across the daytime television community.

Deirdre Hall, the multi–Daytime Emmy–winning actress best known for her decades on Days of Our Lives, presented Deborah Norville with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Norville, anchor of “Inside Edition” for more than three decades, is recognized as the longest-serving national news anchor in American television history. Under her leadership, “Inside Edition” became the nation’s #1 daily newsmagazine and one of the top five programs in first-run syndication.

Additional highlights of the evening included: Sir David Attenborough becoming the oldest Daytime Emmy winner ever at 99 for Outstanding Daytime Personality – Non-Daily for Secret Lives of Orangutans; Drew Barrymore scored her first-ever Emmy win for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host; Lisa Yamada winning for Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series, becoming the only Asian-American acting winner from a network soap opera; and a joint statement from Terry O’Reilly, Chair of NATAS and Cris Abrego, Chair of the Television Academy.

“Tonight, we celebrated the remarkable achievements of daytime television’s finest,” said Adam Sharp, President & CEO of NATAS. “For more than 75 years, since daytime television first took root in 1949, these programs have shaped the fabric of our shared culture, entertaining and inspiring generations of viewers.”

A dynamic group of stars presented the awards, including: Brad Bestelink (“Living With Leopards”), Kardea Brown (“Delicious Miss Brown”), Alexa Havins Bruening (“General Hospital”), Scott Clifton (“The Bold and the Beautiful”), Olivia d’Abo (“The Bay”), Dan Feuerriegel (“Days of our Lives”), Rory Gibson (“General Hospital”), Carla Hall (“Chasing Flavor with Carla Hall”), Cherie Jimenez (“Days of our Lives”), Judge Lauren Lake (“We The People with Judge Lauren Lake”), Jodi Long, National Vice President, Los Angeles, SAG-AFTRA), Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson (“Married To Real Estate”), Ross Mathews (“The Drew Barrymore Show”), Michael Mealor (“The Young and the Restless”), Karla Mosley (“Beyond The Gates”), Linda Powell (Executive Vice President, SAG-AFTRA), Joseph Rosendo (“Steppin’ Out”), Michelle Stafford (“The Young and the Restless”) and Lisa Yamada (“The Bold and the Beautiful”).

The Daytime Emmy® Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of categories, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary and legal/courtroom programs. This year marked the debut of several new categories, including Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series and Outstanding Regional Content in a Daytime Genre.

The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards was produced by NATAS Productions LLC. Adam Sharp and Lisa Armstrong are executive producers, with Rachel Schwartz serving as Head of the Daytime Emmy Awards. The firm of Lutz & Carr, LLP, provides accounting services for the competition.
