Jacques Audiard’s Emilia Pérez premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival where it received Best Actress honors (shared between Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofia Gascón, Selena Gomez, and Adriana Paz) as well as the Jury Prize. The film is a broadly entertaining exploration of three women in Mexico whose lives intersect in unpredictable ways, and much of the film’s emotional subtext is explored through song as the film is a traditional musical.

To celebrate Emilia Pérez‘s musical heritage, Netflix partnered with Sony Masterworks to create a 5-son EP, now available, featuring a selection of songs from the film. This EP comes ahead of the release of the full soundtrack in November, including songs performed by Selena Gomez, which will be released timed to the US release on Netflix.
