It’s time to nominate entries for the 10th Annual Cooler Awards at The Contending!

These independent awards originally launched at Awards Daily, but we’re keeping the tradition live here at The Contending. We want all of our loyal readers to share their opinions on the very best in television for the 2025 Emmy season. That’s the window running from June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025.

You’ll find the link below to participate in our first round vote. We only ask for Name and Email Address to ensure you’re a real person. We never share any of your information.

When you vote, remember not to simply predict what you think The Television Academy will nominate. Vote for what you love, what you watched. Vote for the shows and performances that truly stuck in your mind. We’ve included the major players in each category (15 in Drama and Comedy Series, 10 in Limited Series), and you can nominate a maximum of 5 in each category. Also, we understand that you’ll likely have a few preferences that aren’t listed here. That’s where the OTHER field comes into play. All OTHER entries will be considered in the final vote tally.

Voting for the 10th Annual Cooler Awards end is now closed. We will announce the nominees here on the site on July 14: one day before the 2025 Emmy Nominations. We will conduct second round voting in September leading up to the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Until then, exercise your voice and vote!

The Bear is as much a comedy as Donald Trump is this year's Nobel Peace Prize winner. End the genre fraud, Academy. Ship them to drama in 2026.

Now there's talk of the TCA Awards themselves being "reimagined". Like the MTV Movie/TV Awards & People's Choices "reimagined" themselves – before each canceled their scheduled ceremonies this year.

    What say you, TCA?

Breaking: The postponed 50th People's Choice Awards finally have a rescheduled date: February 23, 2026 on CBS from the Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hangar.
