‘Conclave,’ ‘A Complete Unknown,’ & ‘Wicked’ Among AFI’s Top Ten of 2024

With today’s announcement of AFI’s Motion Pictures of the Year, a large question looms over this year’s race: Is Best Picture becoming clearer or cloudier?

After being blanked by the National Board of Review yesterday, Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist came back with today’s list, and Edward Berger’s Conclave ticks off another mention. Will both of these titles be included at the Golden Globe nominations on Monday morning?
