Elliot Tuttle’s Blue Film hasn’t had the traditional festival run. Even though it played the Edinburgh Film Festival last summer and Newfest in October, it was rejected by both Sundance and South by Southwest, and it’s very exciting that Tuttle’s film will get a release next month. The trailer is equal parts captivating and unnerving.
Kieron Moore plays Aaron Eagle, a camboy who agrees to spend the night with an anonymous client named Hank, played by Reed Birney. When Hank removes his ski mask (an unsettling image on its own), Aaron realizes that he has a connection to this man that no one could have ever anticipated.
