Jane Scheonbrun’s emotional I Saw the TV Glow and RaMell Ross’ beloved adaptation of Colon Whitehead’s The Nickel Boys is hot on Anora‘s heels with three mentions.

Whilst I don't put a lot of stock in the Gothams, I am happy to see Nicole, Marianne and Yura nominated in the performance categories and both Babygirl and Hard Truths nominated in their respective film categories.

That said, former is out of Oscars because Poland specifically chose to ignore / bury it (What an amazingly dated and stupid rule AMPAS still have) while the latter is most likely out since it's from Netflix whose Emilia Perez is also about 3 powerhouse actresses.
