Ali Cook’s The Pearl Comb is one of the most handsome films in contention for this year’s Live Action Short Film race. It combines the element of a well-known fable with the horrofic beauty of an alluring siren. In an exclusive for The Contending, Oscar nominee Miranda Richardson interviews Cook alongside two of his actors, Beatie Edney and Simon Armstrong.
