Tuesday, June 10, 2025 (Los Angeles, CA) – This evening the Hollywood Creative Alliance celebrated the winners and honorees of the 2025 Astra TV Awards at the SLS Hotel, Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. This year’s winners were determined by a committee of 35 members all of whom work within the entertainment industry.
Apple TV+’s The Studio, a satire about the inner workings of Hollywood, led the 2025 Astra TV Awards with a total of 4 wins, including Best Comedy Series, Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Seth Rogen, Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Catherine O’Hara, and Best Directing in a Comedy Series for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Apple TV+’s Severance was named the Best Drama Series.
Netflix’s Adolescence was named Best Limited Series and Rebel Ridge won Best Television Movie.
Additional Best Actor category winners are Noah Wyle in HBO/MAX’s The Pitt (Drama Series) and Colin Farrell in HBO’s The Penguin (Limited Series or TV Movie).
The Best Actress category winners are Natasha Lyonne in Peacock’s Poker Face (Comedy Series), Kathy Bates in CBS’ Matlock (Drama Series), and Cristin Milioti in HBO’s The Penguin (Limited Series or TV Movie).
In the Comedy Ensemble categories, the inaugural winners were CBS’ Ghosts (Broadcast Comedy Series), HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones (Cable Comedy Series), and Apple TV+’s Shrinking (Streaming Comedy Series).
For the Drama Ensemble categories, the inaugural winners were CBS’ Matlock (Broadcast Network Drama Series), HBO’s The White Lotus (Cable Drama Series), and HBO/MAX’s The Pitt (Streaming Drama Series).
The HCA also presented the Trailblazer Award to Olivia Munn as well five Honorary Awards to David Alan Grier (Actor Spotlight Award), Melissa Rauch (Actress Spotlight Award), Jennifer Morrison (Director Spotlight Award), Saagar Shaikh (Breakthrough Actor Spotlight Award) and Courtney Eaton (Breakthrough Actress Spotlight Award).
Additionally, the Hollywood Creative Alliance is proud to be reuniting with national nonprofit Petco Love to present Maggie Lawson, host of the Unconditional with Maggie Lawson Podcast with the Lovey Award. As the charitable partner, Petco Love will once again host a pet adoption event on-site during the Astra TV Awards and those in attendance can adopt a dog in need of a loving home.
