After diving into Netflix’s The Four Seasons, Joey and Megan face off in Clarence’s Name That John Williams Tune pop quiz.

Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield revisit writer/director/star Alan Alda’s 1981 The Four Seasons. This time, the four seasons are split across an 8-episode comedy series starring Fey, Colman Domingo, Will Forte, Steve Carell, and more. The theme remains largely the same. Three couples reconnect on vacations centered around each four season. While branded a comedy, the series offers heavy amounts of drama. Yet, does that balance fully connect? Joey, Megan, and Clarence dive into the Netflix series. They also speculate whether or not it could break into the 2025 Emmy Comedy Series race.

Then, Clarence offers up a surprise pop quiz for Joey and Megan. With Music By John Williams in Emmy contention, Clarence tests Joey and Megan’s knowledge of Williams’ iconic scores in Name That John Williams Tune.

We close our podcast with the Flash Forward to the media we’re most anticipating in the upcoming week.

If you haven’t heard it yet, take a listen to our spin-off series, Desperate Housewives Revisited, where Joey and Clarence look back at the first season of Marc Cherry’s 2004 phenomenon.

I have been tempted to watch and not watch this version of The Four Seasons. Perhaps i will in the end but as of this moment I just can't bring myself to watch even though it stars many of my fave actors

I thought it was pretty good, although the ending didn't really work for me.

Normally I'd say the cast could get some nominations even if people didn't love the show. But lately, it seems like Emmy voters just want to nominate the whole cast of their favorite shows, so there's no room for stuff like this.

I may check this out in a few weeks. Right now I am watching the UK season of the Traitors, which is now on Peacock. I hope to check out the Pitt soon as well based on a recommendation from a friend.
